An exciting and unique 21st century take on an Elizabethan theatre.

Commissioned by Valley Arts Trust this potentially award winning design was produced by final year and postgraduate students from Adelaide University.

Designed as a fully portable theatre it originated from discussions with the Dowager Countess of Cawdor, when discussing a Shakespeare Festival for Cawdor Castle in Scotland.

Once completed it will travel between Australia and Scotland with major Festivals in both locations. 

In the long run, discussions are in process for the acquisition of a permanent site for the theatre in the mid-north of South Australia for year round performances
