Our history

Anthony E. Kennard, CEO
Initially studying Law at Adelaide University, that course was abandoned for music.
Studied composition and harpsichord at the Guildhall School of Music, London, for 4 years.
He moved to Melbourne from Adelaide on returning.
Commenced Arts Administration being employed as Subscription Manager by BASS Victoria, Supervising annual subscription seasons nationally for The Australian Ballet, Australian Opera and The Victoria State Opera.
After 5 years, he was offered a position at the Victoria State Opera as Venue and touring liaison and Artistic advisor.
The musicals produced and toured nationally included major productions of "Anything Goes", My Fair Lady" and "West Side Story". Special events included 2 outdoor concerts by Dame Kiri te Kanawa, 2 arena tours by Placido Domingo, an arena tour by Jose Carreras and an arena tour with IMG of the opera "Carmen".
Appointed Artistic Director of Opera Festival in Ballarat for 3 years, developing Australian Premiers of Offenbach and other major operas.

Moved to Melbourne and specialised in providing corporate entertainment for major conferences in Melbourne and Sydney for 5 years, then moved to Snowtown.

On encouragement from the CEO of the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council I established Valley Arts Trust as a registered charity to produce arts productions with profits being returned to other arts projects and companies.
Valley Arts Trust commenced operations in 2019 with 3 successful performances of a Baroque concert at Sevenhill with Ensemble Galante.
The next year we produced 3 concerts of Vivaldi in the Vines, an Easter Passion, performed by the Adelaide Baroque orchestra with counter Tenor Max Riebl.
Due to Covid, concerts planned for 2021 and 2022 were cancelled.​
